Our Beloved President, Peter Kelly should be thanked as well. He went back and added all the descriptions and fixed some of the links and images as well.

He worked a lot harder on this summary than I did. He had to verify links and get permission for the use of pictures.

Thanks, Pete, for all your efforts. I think this auction is going to be a huge success.

Yes, in fact all 4 vendors will be doing presales.  I have the presales list from everyone except Aqualife.  I need to clarify some details with Your Reef and Underwater Paradise before sending their lists out.  I'm hoping to send them all out on Monday to MARS members vis email (another bonus for being a MARS member) and then post them here for everyone to see on Tuesday.  However, as they say, "the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry."

Reeffarmers' presale list just went out via email to MARS members.  I'll be posting it here tomorrow night, late, for those that are not MARS members.  I'm going to try to get the rest of the presale lists out by Wednesday.

nice work, Pete. I started with an email of 5 items to purchase from the list, then cut out the chalices, then decided I best just turn off my computer and go to bed.

So tempting! I think I'll wait for the auction, though.

We have a late addition to the vendor line-up.  Fragarack.com will be joining us with their new custom made fragrack product for sale, just in time for the Auction, just in time for your new acquisitions.

So here is a question, lets say I don't get what I want from the auction and I have some money left over afterwords, and lets say that not all of the pre-sale frags were sold, is there any way I could buy any of the pre-sale coral that was left over at these prices?  :)

Steve will not be bringing any presale corals that are not prepaid for.  I do not believe that John will be either.  You'd have to call John directly and ask him.

What are you waiting for!!! The item you really want in the presale could be selling as you type...  Go buy it now!  (and then grow it out for a DBTC)  :)

I had to groan when I saw that fragarack was a late addition to the meeting.  I just bought two racks online about a week ago. 
Now I just need to fill them  :glasses:

Underwater Paradise will be doing presales on anything on their website.  Just send Rob an email listing what you want and he'll send you a total price and confirm availability.  Delivery will be at the meeting, like the other vendors.  His website serves as the "presale list"

Pete, is there a price break on these for us? If so, what is the pricing?

Also, is Rob offering a general discount on his corals for this 'pre-sale'? Or do we have to email him to ask what the price is on each piece we may be interested in?

it says the website won't be done until April 16th.  I would guess that there would be other sizes listed at that time. 

It also says
"Frag-A-Rack strength: It has been tested up to a ½ inch thick glass. We are testing it on ¾ inch thickness with powerheads to make sure the reliability is there! Testing for ¾ thickness will be done April 10th, 2009." 

I am sure they are waiting until they know their product will meet all needs.

You guys know what I know.  You'll need to contact the vendors directly via their email or their websites for more info.  Rob gets PM on this site.  I'm not sure if Fragarack does.  Sorry, I'm just a maximum capacity and do not want to make any assumptions.  If either vendor provides an answer that can be posted here, please do so when you find out.

Honestly for me it depends on the piece you want since most of my prices are lower then any where else to begin with.  I would say though for the most part that the normal 10% club member discount would apply for my presale items.  Usually when members come to my store they get a far better deal then 10% off ;)
